2011 update of My S.I.C. Collection

I would like to apologize for unable to update my blog for quite some time. I have been renovating my room and the cabinets where I display my collections and also my camera is not really suitable for closeup shots. The other thing that slows down my progress was that it is not a really easy task to complete these collections and I needed time to track the figures down and also financial reasons which sometimes slowdown my progress.



Now that I am back...lets begin. Owh... I really do appreciate it if you would kindly follow my blog and comment on my collections. Thank you.

KIKAIDER SERIES

Finally able to complete this collection. Previously I couldn't find Volume 11 but recently a friend of mine decided to sell his to me. Currently the market price for Kikaider and Side Machine alone
is RM750++ but i was able to get it for RM300 only from my friend. Thanks a billion for completing my collection.

KAMEN RIDER WITH BIKES SERIES

To complete the two Rider I had to modified Rider 1 and Cyclone 1 into Rider 2 and Cyclone 2 respectively. Plus I had to paint Rider 1 into Rider 2. I hope the next version for Rider 2 and Cyclone 2 will be release soon.

SHOWA SERIES & THE FIRST AND THE NEXT SERIES

So far I did not need to buy 2 sets of any figure from the Showa Series, up until Kamen Rider Stronger was release. This was because Stronger has the Charge-Up Form while Tackle has the Mask On Mode.

SHOWA RIDER SERIES 2

An almost complete collection after the recently bought Kamen Rider J. Now I only need Kamen Rider Shin to complete the series, which I hope will come out soon.

HENSEI KUUGA AND FAIZ SERIES

I put this two series together in one cabinet because so far this are the only series with the most few figures compared to the other series. As you can see I only put up Kuuga Mighty Forms here as I haven't found extra bodies for the Normal Form. On the other hand the FAIZ series is a complete set after I got the Axel Form.

AGITO SERIES

I hope S.I.C will be releasing Kamen Rider Grill as soon as possible as that is the only missing rider to complete this series and since Kamen Rider Agito and his bike has come out with a Version 2.

RYUKI SERIES

I purposely bought both Ryuki Normal Mode and Survive Mode so that I could extend Dragredder. Same goes for Ryuga which I bought 1 set of Ryuga Survive Mode and 2 sets of Ryuga Normal Mode simply to extend Dragblacker. I also bought Kamen Rider Knight for its Normal and Survive Mode, and sold off Ouja.

BLADE SERIES

This was the first collection that I was able to complete the whole set. But then I was also a bit mad the S.I.C reissued Wild Chalice in Tamashii Nation 2010 Wild Chalice which was far cheaper than the one I bought in 2008 which was double of the one came out in 2010.

HIBIKI SERIES

So far I've collected 4 out of 5 Limited Edition figures which are; Imagination Works Limited Hibiki Maziora, Imagination Works Ani-Com 2007 Hong Kong Limited Todoroki Maziora, Hobby Japan Limited Warring State Perriod Masked Rider Armed Hibiki, Masked Rider Sabaki, Eiki & Dannki and S.I.C. Kanto 11 Oni -Elite Assembly-. The only one I dont have would be the Limited Hibiki Clear ver.

KABUTO SERIES

For this series alone I bought 5 set of Kabuto, 2 set of Dark Kabuto and 2 sets of Gattack. I hope the other character in the series will come out as well.

DEN-O SERIES

Im looking forward to get my hands on Cho Den-O and New Den-O. I will not collect Kamen Rider Den-O Kohana & Naomi PVC because these two are only figures and not action figures.

KIVA SERIES

There was a high demand for the Kiva Emperor Form even before the figure came out. By the time I received the figure the price went up from RM320 to RM520. I also want to see more characters from this series to come out as well.

DECADE SERIES

For me to complete this collection I had to hunt down most of the older models, which I mount with the extra Decade's belt which I got from Decade Kuuga's and Kabuto which I have bought extra. The only Rider missing is Faiz and Limited Diend.

W SERIES

As you can see the collection is still small although I am aiming to have all 9 Modes in the future. Im looking forward to add in Kamen Rider W FangJoker and also Kamen Rider Skull and Skull Crystal.

As you can see, S.I.C had came a long way just to make this figure a reality. Even though it was just a figure for us, but the really made effort to create a figure as real as the one we see on the series. Therefore I would like to salute Takayuki Takeya and Kenji Ando for making improvements to S.I.C figures all this time.

S.I.C. Ryuki

S.I.C. Vol.23 Ryuki with Dragredder

Back in 2004 there wasn't any shop that sells S.I.C. series in Kuching thus most of my S.I.C. Ryuki series was purchase from Peninsular Malaysia. The Dragredder shown below consist of two Dragredder, half of it was from the 2007 S.I.C. Classics series while the other half is from the 2004 series.



S.I.C.Vol.23 Ryuki Survive

When I first had Ryuki in 2004 I only bought 1 set which held me back from displaying the Survive Form. Then when the S.I.C. Classics came out I bought another Ryuki which enables me showing off the Ryuki Survive form.


S.I.C Vol.24 Knight

The same case happened for Kamen Rider Knight as I bought only 1 set of it the the time. So Kamen Rider Knight Survive form have to wait until there is reissue of Kamen Rider Knight or maybe if I'm lucky enough to find it online.



S.I.C. Vol.27 Zolda & Giga Launcher

Among all of my S.I.C. collection this would be the only figure that comes with an enormous cannon, the Giga Launcher.


S.I.C. Vol.24 Ouja

The original Ouja faced a terrible accident back in 2005 where he had broken his leg. Nowadays it is using the body of Original Ryuga. The color had also been touch up with nail polish and from my opinion it looks much better than the original because of the shine.


S.I.C. Vol.27 Taiga & Dest Claws

One thing I noticed about this figure is that compared to the TV series, Taiga's Axe; Dest Visor is much longer in its S.I.C. form. Also Dest Claw is quite heavy because the nails are made from metal.


S.I.C Vol.25 Alternative Zero

In the TV series there was actualy two Alternative; Alternative and Alternative Zero . However to this day only Alternative Zero have been produce as a S.I.C. figure. Hopefully in the future S.I.C. will come up with Alternative Prototype along with it motorbike; Psycoroader.



S.I.C. Vol.25 Ryuga

Currently I had 3 Ryuga, one original, one 2007 Imagination Works Limited Ryuga with Dragblacker version and a SIC Mook Hobby Japan Limited Version Ryuga Survive form with Dragblacker . The one below is the Limited version while the original body has been used by Ouja.

Just like Dragredder, Dragblacker that is shown below also consist of two Dragblacker. Innitially I asked my friend in Taiwan to buy Ryuga Survive form with Dragblacker, but somehow he thought that I said "I want Dragblacker very much.". So he ended up buying the 2007 Imagination Works Limited Ryuga with Dragblacker AND Mook Hobby Japan Limited Version Ryuga Survive with Dragblacker. That is why I have two Dragblacker.

S.I.C Masked Rider Agito

S.I.C. Vol. 40 Agito and Machine Tornader

This volume is actually a re-release which now comes along with its bike; Tornader. This version of Agito is far better from the first version Agito as the second version Agito have much better and improved articulation. Tornader is also a very interesting piece of work as it is able to transform to the Slider Mode.



S.I.C. Vol.19 Agito Flame Form

I have 2 box for Volume 19 because inside this set contains the parts for Ground Form, Storm Form, Flame Form and Trinity Form but the set only include 1 body. Hence i am still trying to get another set for the Trinity Form.

Since I have an extra body for Another Agito thus I've decided to make the body as the Yukina Sawaki Version.

I hope that S.I.C. will make a new mold for Another Agito because the current version looks more like a Rider from the Showa era rather than a Hensei Rider.

I actually bought two set of G3 which comes with G4 and have an extra parts for G3X.

S.I.C. Toei Hero Net Limited Version G3 Mild

I was surprise that I was able to buy this Limited Edition figure in in my home town because normally i could only get Limited Edition figures through my Taiwanese contacts.

Since 1998

I've started collecting S.I.C. since 1998 from Vol. 1 although the picture below does not show any of the first figures from the Vol. 1 series and also other figures such as the Kikaider series, Henshin Ninja Arashi & Majinsai and also Akumaizer 3, because all of them are still in the box and also I've ran out of space to display them on the shelf.

Kuuga Series

Currently I have 6 Kuuga figures and i am still planning to expand this series.



Kiva & Decade Series

As we all know so far the Kiva series have only been produced until this figures and I am still awaits for the Kiva Emperor Form. As you can see I have two set of Ixa which is for the Save Mode and another for Burst Mode, and also 2 set of Dark Kiva; Otoya Version and King Version. Im also waiting for another body for Decade so that I could display as the Complete Form.




Kabuto Series

Just for Kabuto alone I have 4 box; one for Masked Form, one for Rider Form, one for Hyper Form and the last for Hyper Clock-Up Form. The Kabuto Zector below was made possible without sacrificing any Kabuto by switching Kabuto with a Sustagen bottle. ; )
Im also waiting another set for Gattack to display Dark Kabuto and Zect Trooper .




Faiz Series

Within the Faiz series I am only short of Limited Faiz Accel Form. If anyone knows where I can get one please to tell me.
Hibiki Series

Other than the ones displayed here the only figures I don't have yet are the Limited 4 Oni; Gouki, Touki, Shouki and Banki. I used the normal Todoroki to host Hibiki Armor version without sacrificing Hibiki's body, and painted it black.



Agito Series

I've have collected a complete set for Agito's figures and also have two extra body for other forms.


Den-o Series

The only figures I have not obtained for the Den-O series are the Limited Version figures. I am also waiting to get Zeronos Altair Form.



Blade Series

The first complete series including the limited Edition figures.



Ryuki Series

Currently I have not obtain Ryuki and Ouja Blank Form and also another body to display Knight Survive Form.


Showa Series & The First plus The Next

I only need Pure Amazon, Rider X Repaint version and Golgos to complete this series.


Black & RX & Zo Series



So these are my current collection for S.I.C. Masked Rider Series only.

S.I.C Showa Masked Rider

S.I.C. Vol. 16 & 17 Masked Rider Black, Black RX and Shadow Moon

This Masked Rider Black box set came with one Black "Black Version" with another armor for Black RX and then another box set that includes Shadow Moon came together with a masked Rider Black, "Green Version" . But the Black version wasn't the complete form as it lacks the Red and Yellow stripes. So I bought a SIC Mook Hobby Japan Limited Version which was call 'Another RX' which came together with a complete armor set for Black and a Silver RX.

I got this Battle Hopper from my contacts in Taiwan. The Battle Hopper was not an official S.I.C. release but was produced by another company custom-made for S.I.C. figures, making it my very first custom-made collection.

I bought this two figures separately because at the time Another RX was not available in the market. I bought Another RX also through my Taiwanese contacts while Another Shadow Moon was purchase from a local supplier.

I'm also trying to get my hands on SIC Toei Hero Net Limited Version Masked Rider J as it is the only figure in the Showa series that I have not obtained. If any one can tell me where I can get this figure or sell me one I will be very very grateful!




S.I.C. Vol. 46 Masked Rider 1 & Cyclone "Masked Rider The First Version"

I really fond of Cyclone as it is the combination of the 1971 version with the 6 exhaust and the 2005 new body kit design.



The Movie Realization "Masked Rider The First" Rider 1 & 2

This is the only non S.I.C product that i bought belonging to the Masked Rider series. It is the side product of S.I.C. and was produced by The Movie realization company but was sculpted by Kenji Ando who used to work on S.I.C. figures.


The Movie Realization "Masked Rider The Next" Rider 1 & 2

At first I didn't want to buy these figures because I all ready bought the figures from "The First" line. But when I got the chance to see the figures up close I realize that "The Next" line was an upgrade of "The First" line. The articulation was improved as it has extended movement on its joints while the paint job is much better and certain parts of the figures have more details in the sculpture.


S.I.C. Vol. 14 Masked Rider 1 & Cyclone

When this figure came out in 2002 I could not find this figure because the market for S.I.C. in Malaysia at the time was very limited. I could only buy it after a couple of years later through my Taiwanese friend.



S.I.C. Vol. 18 V3 & Riderman

I faced the same problem with this box set and I could only get my hands on the reissued figure which came out in the S.I.C Classics line.



S.I.C. Vol. 41 Masked Rider X & Apollo Geist

When I saw in the magazine that this figures was going to be release I was very happy and also disappointed at the same time. Happy because this was the Rider X was one of the 'Classic 10' that was release after the last Showa figure came out 5 years before. The disappointment came from the fact that Rider X came out with his nemesis; Geist, instead of his motorbike; Cruiser.




S.I.C. Vol. 21 Masked Rider Amazon & Jungler

I bought Amazon only after it was reissued under the S.I.C. Classics line in 2007 because back when it originally came out in 2003 I had difficulty of getting this figure in Malaysia.
